Despite Warlock getting yet another nerf and seeing its single-best card completely removed from the format, the class remains among the most popular in the format. How popular? Well, in the top ten archetypes in terms of popularity, Warlock has three. #3 Even Reno Warlock, #5 Even Warlock, and #6 Reno Warlock. In addition, Warlock makes up for 30.8% of all decks in the top-Legend Hearthstone ranks in the Wild format. Currently, Even Reno Warlock finds itself at the #3 spot in terms of grade, with a win rate of 60.4%. At this point, anything short of changing Warlock’s hero power, Life Tap!, isn’t going to stop the class from maintaining its hold on the format for a long time.

The Shaman Class remains interesting one in the current meta. Its most played archetype, Reno Shudderwock Shaman, finds itself on the #7 spot in terms of popularity overall. Despite the popularity, the deck’s win rate is not great (yet), which is almost certainly biased by everyone trying the archetype. Shaman’s other archetypes, like Big, Murloc, and Burn Shaman, all have significantly higher win rates at 62.2, 54.8, and 53.4%, respectively, albeit over significantly smaller sample sizes.

Rogue continues its struggle of not having a place in the Wild Hearthstone meta. While Odd Rogue certainly shows promise with its 57.3% win rate over a small sample of games, there just isn’t a lot to get excited about with the class. The Rogue Class’ most popular archetype, Pillager Rogue, continues to disappoint most players who attempt to pilot the deck. This time finding itself with a win rate of 46%. Despite that, the Pillager Rogue deck seems to perform for some, as several players reached the High-Legend ranks using various builds of the archetype.

While Shadow Priest primarily wanted to fight the now banned Questline Warlock deck, the deck continues to succeed in the new Wild Hearthstone meta. While many players are fleeing to their slower control and combo Priest archetypes, the Shadowpriest Archetype maintains its spot as the best performing Priest deck. An interesting deck that made a return is the old-school Big Priest archetype. While Big Priest struggles against its old nemesis’ like Questline (Pirate) Warrior and Hunter, the deck performs surprisingly well against many of the other decks in the meta.

As usual, Paladin maintains its spot as the “boring but consistent” class of the Wild Hearthstone meta. With only 5% representation in the current meta, various Paladin archetypes manage to perform. The most successful decks for the Paladin class include its Odd and Bubble archetypes, which likely see more play as the meta develops. Many of Paladin’s wins come from its strong matchup into the popular Questline Odd Hunter deck, which is worth keeping in mind for your next Hearthstone climb.

With the slower meta, the usual suspects make their return. Mage especially sees various decks come back into viability, with the standout being the Secret Mage deck. Secret Mage fell out of favor in the Questline Warlock meta. However, now the archetype shows potential with a win rate of 55.7%. The slower decks like LPG and Reno Mage still lack behind a bit in terms of win rate as the popular Hunter deck has a strong matchup into the Mage class.

Unsurprisingly to anyone that follows the Wild Hearthstone meta, Hunter is on top. With just the Questline Odd Hunter archetype having a higher representation than the Druid and Demon Hunter classes combined, the deck is clearly popular. But not only that, with a sample of over 4500 matches, the deck maintains the second-highest win rate in the format at over 60.9%.

Druid is completely taking the Wild format by storm now that Warlock lost one of its powerful archetypes. With the meta slowing down significantly, many different archetypes of Druid are making an appearance. With Druid only making up for 11% of the current Meta, it stands out that the class has eight different viable archetypes with a positive win rate. A surprising deck that made it into this edition of Datadecks is the Even Druid archetype. Yes, that is right, Even Druid. While the sample size of Even Druid remains limited, the deck (so far) manages a win rate of 58.2%, which suggests the archetype needs more attention from the community.

With the removal of the Warlock Questline from the Wild format, certain classes have shown new signs of life. Among them, unfortunately, the Demon Hunter class isn’t. While the Demon Hunter fans still manage to maintain a positive win rate with the Odd Demon Hunter archetype, the class may as well not exist, with the class only representing 1.6% of all decks in the Wild Hearthstone meta.

The absolute biggest winner of the recent balance update is Questline Warrior. With several of the deck’s cards getting significant buffs and its main opposition, Questline Warlock, leaving the meta, the deck looks unstoppable. Just to express how crazy the Questline Warrior archetype is, the deck currently sits at #1 in popularity, grade, and win rate. With 61.7% over more than 5000 recorded games, the deck is actually unstoppable.
